Guide to Supercharged Intention - Knowing what you REALLY want
Set your intention daily for 30 days!
Why set intention? As you embark on this journey of Cosmic Self-Awareness, it is important to become clear about what you really want to create and why. An intention is both a WHAT and a WHY.
So many of us are not really tuned in to what we want. We think about what our families want and need, our spouses, kids, our bosses, employees, and those wants and needs tend to become our own in our conscious mind. But subconsciously, we may deeply want or even need something else! If there is a difference in the energy here, it is impossible to manifest our true desires because we are literally sending out mixed signals. Getting really clear is a process all it’s own and by the end of 30 days you may find your intentions have totally changed.
You can ask yourself questions that can help you get more clear as well. One question I have asked myself is “what would I do with my life if earning money was not a factor?” Would you be pursuing something different than what you do for a living? It is an interesting question to ponder and will likely bring up thoughts and feelings buried under obligations and fears!
Ways to remember to set your intention:
Set an alarm on your phone with a note to set your intention of the day.
Put a note on your calendar or task list to set your intention.
Leave a sticky note on the mirror in the bathroom or on your computer screen.
Leave a note on the refrigerator door.
Or come up with a way to remind yourself that is uniquely yours!
Here is an example
My Daily Intention goes something like this. “May I give my body exactly what it needs with ease and grace, for the benefit of all. May I be guided to inspirations and actions that enrich my mind and spirit for the benefit of all. May I be more loving and kind towards everyone I meet for the benefit of all. May I allow myself to experience my Divine Abundance and divine Currency in my chosen work, for the benefit of all. May I experience more fun, laughter and lightness for the benefit of all!”
You can set an intention for any area of life or for all of them. As with you affirmation, use positive, life affirming words and present tense. Find a way to phrase your intentions without the use of words like “not” or contractions like “don’t”.
Example: instead of “May I not allow people to make me angry”, say “May I find the value in all of my emotions and govern myself with grace and self love.”
